Child Car Seat ID Kit
This kit could save your child's life!

Every Car Seat Needs one...

The thought of being in a car accident usually does not enter our minds when we get into the car.  Less thought is given to how will emergency personnel give us or our children care if we are in an accident.  If an accident occurs and the driver is rendered unconscious, who will provide the contact or medical information about the child in the car seat?

In most States, it is the law that children of the age of 4 or under who are in a vehicle accident be transported to a hospital in a car seat.  Even if the EMS vehicle has a car seat for such a use, most paramedics will transport the child to the hospital in the car seat in which the child was riding.  When they arrive at the hospital, the ID form containing contact and medical information allows medical personnel to treat the child even if a parent can't speak for the child.  The ID form provides the medical staff with the child's name, which is a comfort to the child, and provides contact numbers for parents, grandparents or some other friend or family member, as well as any medical conditions about the child.

Each kit includes the following:

*One (1) clear plastic holder for information form
*One (1) 3x8" Information Form where you can list contacts, medical information, and photo of child
*Two (2) window decals to let emergency personnel know that you have information form on car seat
*Two (2) child car seat ID stickers to be placed on the card seat...added help to First Responders
*One (1) 8" reusable cable tie to attach holder to back of car seat

You can also insert such items as a business card, medical release note, or other information into the plastic sleeve holder.

In the event of an emergency, the holder is opened and the form with valuable information you provided can be used by First Responders or Emergency Room personnel at the hospital.

And because the cable tie is reusable, you can move the information from one car seat to another, to a carriage, or booster seat.  Additionally, you can update the form without having to go through the bother of removing stickers...simply create a new form and place into the sleeve.

Why Window and Car Seat Stickers?

Each kit comes with two window decals and two car seat stickers.  The window decals will alert Firwst repsonders to the fact that ytour car seat has an ID form attcahed to it.  If they happen to miss the decals, the other stickers, which are placed onto the car seat itself, will notify them of the information attached.
