Why a Car/Booster Seat ID?
If you are in an accident and made unconscious:
"Who will be able to provide information about your child to First Responders or the hospital?"
"Does your child have any allergies or medical conditions the hospital needs to know about?"
"Who is the next person to contact for care in case you are unconscious or unavailable?"
These are all questions that have answers--you may know the answers--but, "Do emergency personnel?"
In most cases, the answer would have to be NO.
This is why the every car seat should have a ID information card attached to it. First Responders and Emergency Room personnel need medical and contact information immediately...not in an hour or two!
OUR CAR SEAT KITS CAN HELP PROVIDE THAT INFORMATION!
Virtually all Car Seat ID kits on the market today are stickers which allow for limited information or are not compatible with all models of car or booster seats.
With so many styles of car seats on the market, our research showed that rather than use a sticker (which can fall off due to loss of adhesion--particularly in the heat/cold of a car interior), or just get pulled off by the child, we would use a reusable cable tie to secure the ID packet to the back of the car seat. This way, you can attach the ID almost anywhere on the back of the car seat.
Additionally, this allows you to remove and reuse many times over!

One (1) clear plastic holder for Information Card
One (1) 3x8" Information Card where you can list contacts, medical information, and photo of child
Two (2) window decals to let emergency personnel know you have ID on the car seat
Two (2) child seat ID stickers as added information to let emergency personnel know about ID on car seat
One (1) 8" reusable cable tie to attach to virtually any part of the back of the car or booster seat, keeping your information attached to the car/booster seat.
In the event of an emergency, the holder is opened and the form with the valuable information you provided can be used by the First Responder or Emergency Room personnel at the hospital. (You can even place added information into the holder, such as business cards or a medical release card.)
